Research Trends of the Internet of Things in Relation to Business Model Innovation: Results from Co-Word and Content Analyses

In the era of Internet Things, innovative business model initiatives continue to deepen, and trend search domains continues expand. This paper aims scientifically analyze research trends Things in relation Business Model Innovation through bibliometric studies. The data were collected using Clarivate Web Science (WoS) Core Collection (SSCI SCI indexed) from 2005 2022 (November). However, publications for started 2015. results show that scientific on have increased gradually since 2019. WoS database is utilized analyses because it contains journals conference proceedings deemed more relevant by academic domain highly reputable sources VOS viewer, R Language, Microsoft Excel also used complete study. Bibliometric scientometric conducted identify publication patterns, text analysis, most important keywords (co-word, word cloud, co-occurrence), topicality, content clustering periods. visualization resulted four co-occurrence clusters leading some topic areas mentioned as follows: (1) (2) innovation, (3) Technology infrastructure, (4) Digital transformation capabilities. this study will assist academics identifying worldwide related well recommending future areas.
